In match No. 26 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024, Delhi Capitals (DC) star leg-spinner Kuldeep Yadav, who returned to the playing XI after missing a few games due to injury, rattled Lucknow Super Giants’ (LSG) in-form batter Nicholas Pooran’s stumps to send him back to the hut on first ball.

Pooran, who has been in excellent touch this IPL 2024 edition, was completely deceived by Kuldeep’s magic. The incident happened during the eighth over of the match when Kuldeep first took the wicket of Marcus Stoinis, and on the very next ball, Pooran’s defense was castled.

It was a straight delivery from Kuldeep on off stump line, and the LSG vice-captain was completely deceived in flight as the ball disturbed the off pole as Pooran departed for a golden duck without troubling the scorers. However, Deepak Hooda took a single of the next ball, as Kuldeep couldn’t take a hat-trick.

Meanwhile, this was fifth time Kuldeep had got the better of Pooran in T20 cricket. The bowler has dominated the batter in the shortest format of the game.
