List of all Double Super Overs in cricket history

Four T20 games have witnessed more than one Super Over so far.

Super Over was introduced in international cricket in 2008 as a solution to tied matches. The Super Over replaced the bowl-out method, which was previously used in tied matches. In the Super Over, if a match ends in a tie, each team gets one over to bat, and the team that scores the most runs will win.

According to the Super Over rules, the team that batted second in the match will be allowed to bat first. Also, only one bowler will have to bowl the entire over, and the batting team are allowed two wickets. Hence, only three batters will be allowed to take the field.

Earlier, when a Super Over was used to end in a tie, teams were awarded victory on boundary counts. However, due to criticisms, this rule was replaced with a Double Super Over. Hence, if a Super Over ends in a tie, the match will witness another Super Over.

So far, only four T20 matches have witnessed more than one Super Over, and below are all of them.
