The Maharaja Trophy T20 2024 provided a good platform for Karnataka players to showcase their skills and talents.

The Maharaja Trophy T20 2024 organised by the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) concluded on September 1. Mysore Warriors, under the captaincy of Karun Nair, won the title by defeating Bengaluru Blasters in the final at M. Chinnaswammy Stadium in Bengaluru.

The tournament saw plenty of terrific individual performances, with several youngsters catching the attention of the fans. They would be hopeful to have caught the attention of the Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise owners as well.

Here, we will talk about five players who performed well in the Maharaja Trophy T20 2024 and have a good chance to bag hefty deals at the IPL 2025 auction.

Here are five Maharaja Trophy T20 2024 performers who can get a big amount at the IPL 2025 auction

5. Manoj Bhandage – Mysore Warriors

Manoj Bhandage was signed by Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in 2023, but didn’t get a chance to make his IPL debut. Later, he was released by the franchise. Bhandage showed great form in the Maharaja Trophy T20 2024 and that could tempt RCB and other franchises to bid for him in the upcoming auction.

He played for the champions Mysore Warriors and contributed in both departments. He scored 292 runs at an average of 41.71 with a strike rate of 213.13 in 12 games. The 25-year-old also bowled 22.1 overs and took 8 wickets.

4. LR Chethan – Bengaluru Blasters

Bengaluru Blasters made it to the final of the tournament and 24-year-old LR Chethan was a key player for the team. He slammed fifties in the semi-final and final, but his knock in the final went in vain.

Chethan was the highest scorer for his team, scoring 429 runs at an average of 42.90 and a strike rate of 151.59, with four half-centuries.

3. Lavish Kaushal – Bengaluru Blasters

Kaushal took the second-most wickets in the tournament – 16 wickets at an impressive economy rate of 7.92. Being a left-arm pacer and having form on his side, Kaushal could attract some decent bids at the IPL 2025 auction.

2. Codanda Ajit Karthik – Mysore Warriors

Codanda Ajit Karthik played an important part in Mysore’s title-winning campaign with the ball by taking the joint-most wickets for his team. He played a few crucial cameos with the bat as well. Ajit took 16 wickets and also scored 151 runs.

If we have to pick one name from the Maharaja Trophy T20 2024 who is very likely to fetch big money at the IPL 2025 auction, it would be Abhinav Manohar. That is if he is not retained by Gujarat Titans. However, after looking at Manohar’s exploits in this competition, GT would ponder hard over retaining him.

The 29-year-old showed his full range of shots and smashed 52 sixes in just ten innings, while the second-highest in the tournament was 30 sixes.

Manohar finished with the second-highest runs (507) at an average of 84.50 and an incredible strike rate of 196.51, with six half-centuries.
