Kieron Pollard leads Mumbai Indians coaching staff for IPL 2027
Mumbai Indians (MI) have announced their coaching staff for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2027 season, with Kieron Pollard taking charge as head coach. Former India batter Robin Uthappa will serve as the batting coach, while Mitchell McClenaghan, T. Dilip and Dhawal Kulkarni have also joined the coaching group.
The five-time champions finished ninth in the IPL 2026 points table and have failed to win the trophy since winning it in 2020. They have made several changes to their backroom staff as they look to bounce back in the upcoming season.
Pollard has replaced Mahela Jayawardene, while the franchise has also parted ways with Lasith Malinga, Paras Mhambrey and Carl Hopkinson ahead of IPL 2027.
