Over the last few days, several news stories have been going viral over social media claiming that Mumbai Indians owner Nita Ambani had personally offered Vaibhav Sooryavanshi a package worth Rs. 30 crore to join the five-time IPL champions.
Interestingly, the claim also stated that the offer also included a luxury flat in Antila, the famous residence in Mumbai, a private island in the Maldives and a blank cheque for his family. Some even claimed that Vaibhav asked for time to decide, and Rajasthan Royals stepped in to retain him.

Former IPL chairman Lalit Modi also reacted to these rumours and rejected them completely. He clearly stated that IPL player transfers cannot happen through private offers or unofficial deals.
