Jitesh Sharma was acquired by Punjab Kings at the IPL 2022 mega auction for 20 lakhs. With 26 matches under his belt, he has accumulated 543 runs in the IPL so far. He got retained by PBKS for 20 lakhs for the IPL 2024.

24. Atharva Taide – ₹20 lakhs:

Atharva Taide was purchased by PBKS at the IPL 2022 mega auction for 20 lakhs. With 7 matches played, he has scored 186 runs in the IPL so far. He got retained by PBKS for 20 lakhs for the IPL 2024.

23. Shivam Singh – ₹20 lakhs:

Shivam Singh was acquired by PBKS for 20 lakhs at the IPL 2023 auction. Despite not having played any matches in the IPL yet, he got retained by Punjab-based franchise for IPL 2024 for 20 lakhs.

22. Vidwath Kaverappa – ₹20 lakhs:

Vidwath Kaverappa was purchased by PBKS at the IPL 2023 auction for 20 lakhs. However, he hasn’t played any matches yet. Despite this, he got retained for 20 lakhs for the IPL 2024.

21. Tanay Thyagarajann – ₹20 lakhs:

Tanay Thyagarajann was acquired by PBKS at the IPL 2024 auction for 20 lakhs. With anticipation building, he aims to make his debut in IPL 2024, eager to leave a significant impact.

20. Vishwanath Pratap Singh – ₹20 lakhs:

PBKS secured Vishwanath Pratap Singh for 20 lakhs at the IPL 2024 auction, marking his debut season in the league. He looks forward to leaving a mark whenever he steps onto the field.

19. Ashutosh Sharma – ₹20 lakhs:

18. Shashank Singh – ₹20 lakhs:

One of the craziest and confusing acquisition by PBKS at the IPL 2024 auction, Shashank Singh was roped in for 20 lakhs. Prior to joining PBKS, he represented SRH in the IPL 2022 season. With 10 matches under his belt, Singh has so far scored only 69 runs in the IPL.

17. Prince Choudhary – ₹20 lakhs:

At the IPL 2024 auction, PBKS acquired Prince Choudhary for 20 lakhs, heralding his debut season in the league. He will be determined to make an impact in IPL 2024 whenever he graces the field.

16. Harpreet Bhatia – ₹40 lakhs:

Harpreet Bhatia was bought by PBKS for 40 lakhs at the IPL 2023 auction. Despite featuring in just three IPL matches and scoring 77 runs, he got retained by PBKS for IPL 2024 at same price of 40 lakhs.

15. Sikandar Raza – ₹50 lakhs:

Sikandar Raza was acquired by PBKS for 50 lakhs at the IPL 2023 auction. Having played in 7 matches and scoring 139 runs so far, he got retained by PBKS for the IPL 2024 at the same price of 50 lakhs.

14. Rishi Dhawan – ₹55 lakhs:

Rishi Dhawan was purchased by Punjab Kings for 55 lakhs at the IPL 2022 mega auction. Prior to his current stint with Punjab Kings, he represented Kings XI Punjab (now known as Punjab Kings), Mumbai Indians, and Kolkata Knight Riders. With 38 matches under his belt, Dhawan has contributed 210 runs and claimed 25 wickets. He got retained by Punjab Kings for 55 lakhs for IPL 2024.

13. Prabhsimran Singh – ₹60 lakhs:

Prabhsimran Singh was initially acquired by Punjab Kings for 4.8 crores at the IPL 2019 auction but then he was subsequently released. At the IPL 2022 mega auction, Punjab Kings re-acquired him for 60 lakhs. With 20 matches under his belt, Singh has amassed 422 runs. He got retained by Punjab Kings for 60 lakhs for IPL 2024.

12. Nathan Ellis – ₹75 lakhs:

Nathan Ellis first entered the PBKS squad as a replacement for his compatriot Riley Meredith during the IPL 2021. Later, he was re-acquired at the IPL 2022 mega auction for 75 lakhs. Ellis has featured in 15 matches, securing 17 wickets. He got retained by PBKS for 75 lakhs for the IPL 2024.

11. Harpreet Brar – ₹3.80 crores:

Harpreet Brar was initially acquired by PBKS for 20 lakhs at the IPL 2019 auction, and later, he was re-acquired for 3.8 crores at the IPL 2022 mega auction. Having participated in 28 matches, he has claimed 18 wickets so far. Brar got retained by PBKS for 3.8 crores for IPL 2024.

10. Arshdeep Singh – ₹4 crores:

Arshdeep Singh was initially purchased by PBKS for 20 lakhs at the IPL 2019 auction. Due to his impressive performances, he was retained for 4 crores ahead of the IPL 2022 mega auction. With 51 matches under his belt, Singh has already taken 57 wickets. He got retained by PBKS for 4 crores for the IPL 2024.

9. Chris Woakes – ₹4.20 crores:

Chris Woakes was acquired by PBKS at the IPL 2024 auction for 4.2 crores. Prior to joining PBKS, Woakes has had stints with Kolkata Knight Riders, Royal Challengers Bangalore, and Delhi Capitals. With 21 matches played, he has already taken 30 wickets so far in his IPL career.

8. Rahul Chahar – ₹5.25 crores:

Rahul Chahar was acquired by PBKS at the IPL 2022 mega auction for 5.25 crores. Prior to joining PBKS, he played for Mumbai Indians and Rising Pune Supergiants. With 69 matches under his belt, Chahar has already taken 65 wickets in the IPL. He got retained for the IPL 2024 for the same price of 5.25 crores.

7. Jonny Bairstow – ₹6.75 crores:

Jonny Bairstow was acquired by PBKS for 6.75 crores at the IPL 2022 mega auction. Prior to joining PBKS, Bairstow played for Sunrisers Hyderabad. With 39 matches under his belt, he has scored 1291 runs in the IPL. Bairstow missed the entire IPL 2023 due to injury, but he got retained by PBKS for IPL 2024 for the same amount of 6.75 crores.

6. Rilee Rossouw – ₹8 crores:

Rilee Rossouw was purchased by PBKS for 8 crores at the IPL 2024 auction. Before joining PBKS, he played for Royal Challengers Bangalore in 2014-2015 and Delhi Capitals in 2023. Rossouw has featured in 14 IPL matches so far, scoring a total of 262 runs.

5. Shikhar Dhawan – ₹8.25 crores:

Shikhar Dhawan was acquired by PBKS for 8.25 crores during the IPL 2022 mega auction. Prior to joining PBKS, Dhawan has been associated with Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals), Mumbai Indians, Deccan Chargers, Sunrisers Hyderabad. With a wealth of experience, he has played in 217 matches, amassing 6617 runs, including 2 centuries and 50 half-centuries. Dhawan got retained by PBKS for 8.25 crores for IPL 2024.

4. Kagiso Rabada – ₹9.25 crores:

Kagiso Rabada was acquired by PBKS for 9.25 crores at the IPL 2022 mega auction. Before joining PBKS, he has played for Delhi Capitals. With an impressive track record, Rabada has participated in 69 matches, claiming 106 wickets. PBKS retained him for 9.25 crores for IPL 2024.

3. Liam Livingstone – ₹11.5 crores:

Liam Livingstone was acquired by PBKS for 11.5 crores at the IPL 2022 mega auction. Prior to joining PBKS, he represented Rajasthan Royals. So far, Livingstone has participated in 32 matches, accumulating 828 runs and claiming 8 wickets. He got retained by PBKS for 11.5 crores for the IPL 2024.

2. Harshal Patel – ₹11.75 crores:

Harshal Patel was purchased by PBKS for 11.75 crores at the IPL 2024 auction. Prior to joining PBKS, he had stints with Royals Challengers Bangalore (2012-2017, 2021-2023) and Delhi Daredevils (2018-2020) (now known as Delhi Capitals). With extensive experience, Patel has featured in 91 matches, claiming 111 wickets.

1. Sam Curran – ₹18.5 crores:

Sam Curran was acquired by PBKS for 18.5 crores at the IPL 2023 auction. Curran made his IPL debut in 2019 playing for Kings XI Punjab (Punjab Kings now), and then later played for CSK in 2020 and 2021 before returning back to his first IPL franchise in IPL 2023. Curran has so far taken 42 wickets and scored 613 runs in the IPL. Curran got retained by PBKS for salary of 18.5 crores for IPL 2024.
