Nitish Reddy reportedly has been ruled out of England & Ireland tour.

The Indian Cricket Team will be touring Ireland for a two-match T20I series, starting on June 26 before moving to England to face them for five T20I matches and three ODI matches. The team faces a new challenge in order to prepare themselves for the upcoming ODI World Cup in 2027 and then the Olympics as well as the T20I World Cup in 2028.

India‘s premier all-rounder, Hardik Pandya, is already out of the tour after sustaining an injury while representing the Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Nitish Kumar Reddy was selected in his place and was seen as someone with a similar skill set who could find his own place in the team. Iyer played a major role in the success of his franchise in the IPL. After sitting on the bench for most of the games, he finally found his place in the main team following the injuries to Phil Salt and Jacob Bethell.

However, he did not let the management and fans miss those players, as he made great impact with the bat. Iyer also bowls right-arm medium pace and can be seen as someone who could possibly replace Nitish Reddy in the squad.

Another all-rounder who can replace Nitish Reddy is Krunal Pandya. Krunal also last played for the national team back in 2021 and then failed to cement his place in the side.
