T20 World Cup 2026 Points Table, Most Runs & Wickets after match 30, AUS vs SL

Sri Lanka’s Kusal Mendis and the USA’s Shadley van Schalkwyk lead the list.

Three exciting games took place on February 16 (Monday) in the T20 World Cup 2026. In the morning clash, Afghanistan crushed the UAE by five wickets.

In the afternoon, England outplayed Italy by 24 runs to qualify for the Super 8 Round from Group D. They won three games out of four and became the second team after West Indies to move into the next round from their pool.

In the evening, Australia lost their second game in a row against Sri Lanka by eight wickets. Sri Lanka chased down 182 runs with an impeccable century by opener Pathum Nissanka and a half-century by Kusal Mendis.

Winning their third game in the campaign, they became the first team from Group B to book a berth in the Super 8 round.

Group A

No matches took place in Group A on Monday. India are at the top spot in the points table with six points, having won three games in a row.

The USA and Pakistan are next with four points each, followed by the Netherlands with two points. Namibia, who are eliminated from the tournament, languish in last place with 0 points.

Group B

Sri Lanka have qualified for the Super 8 and captured the top spot in the Group B points table with six points. Zimbabwe are next with four points, followed by Australia and Ireland with two points each. Oman, already eliminated from the tournament, occupy the last spot with 0 points.

Group C

West Indies and England have qualified for the Super 8 and are placed at the top two positions in the Group C points table with six points each. Scotland and Italy are placed in the 3rd and 4th positions with two points each, followed by Nepal with 0 points.

Group D

South Africa are at the top of the Group D points table with six points and have sealed a place in the Super Eight round. New Zealand are next with four points, followed by Afghanistan and UAE in the next two positions with two points each. Canada are at the bottom with 0 points.

Following his half-century against Australia, Sri Lanka’s Kusal Mendis has become the top run-scorer in the T20 World Cup 2026 with 168 runs. Tim Seifert and Ishan Kishan are next with 167 and 158 runs respectively. Aiden Markram and Jacob Bethell are the next batters in the queue.
