Chennai Super Kings (CSK) crushed Mumbai Indians (MI) by a huge margin of 103 runs in the 33rd match of the Indian Premier League 2026 on Thursday, April 23. After being asked to bat first, CSK opener Sanju Samson rocked the Wankhede Stadium with his unbeaten century.
Slamming an unbeaten 101 off 54 deliveries, he single-handedly dominated MI bowlers. In the chase, MI lost their top three batters for single digits. None of the batters could score a fifty, and MI were eventually bowled out for just 104 runs.
Akeal Hosein picked up a four-wicket haul, while Noor Ahmed got two wickets. Samson was awarded Player of the Match for his outstanding century.
