Rishabh Pant achieved the feat during the first IND vs SA test at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata.
The first test between Indian Cricket Team and South Africa Cricket Team is underway at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata. On second day of the encounter on Saturday (November 15), Indian wicket-keeper batter Rishabh Pant achieved an incredible batting record, becoming the Indian batter with most sixes in test cricket.
The left-handed batsman has made his comeback in the test series against South Africa after recovering from a foot injury, which he sustained during the test tour of England in July. Due to a two-month-long recovery, he missed out the home test series against the West Indies last month.
The Indian vice-captain’s comeback wasn’t as fruitful as he would’ve expected as he lost his ground after scoring just 27 runs, becoming a victim of Corbin Bosch. However, that was enough for him to go past former Indian opener Virender Sehwag in an elite list.
