[Watch] India B's Rishabh Pant hilariously joins India A's team huddle during Duleep Trophy 2024 match

Rishabh Pant managed scores of 7 and 61 in the India A vs India B game.

In the first round of the Duleep Trophy 2024, Rishabh Pant played for the India B team against India A at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.

India B had ended day 3 at 150/6 with Pant also back in the hut. Ahead of the start of play on day 4 of the match, Pant made a hilarious act as he joined the opposition’s team huddle.

Shubman Gill, the India A captain, had his players gathered in a usual team huddle to motivate his players and discuss any last bit of strategy before they resumed their bowling.

The camera quickly caught someone odd in the team huddle. It was Pant. While the India A players donned the whites, Pant, in his blue training jersey, was also standing alongside the India A players!

It was a hilarious antic from Pant and none of the India A players seem to mind it as they allowed him to be part of their huddle. As the India A players scattered, Pant had a chuckle with India A seamer Avesh Khan.

Talking about the match, India B batted first and posted 321 on the board, courtesy of Musheer Khan’s 181. In reply, India A were bowled out for 231 and conceded a 90-run deficit.

In the second innings, Pant and Sarfaraz Khan played cracking knocks of 61 (47) and 46 (36), respectively and set India A a target of 275 runs on a pitch that is difficult to bat on. At the time of writing, India A are 137/6 after 39 overs and need 138 more runs to win.
