Rohit Sharma completed 20,000 international runs during the third ODI against South Africa.

India‘s modern-day great Rohit Sharma now has more than 20,000 runs in international cricket to his name. The former India captain crossed this figure during the ongoing third ODI against South Africa, which is currently underway at Vishakhapatnam’s Dr. YSR ACA-VDCA International Cricket Stadium. He has become only fourth Indian batter and overall 13th to achieve the feat.

Before the Australian tour, there were speculations about his future in ODI cricket. With the veteran playing only one format after retiring from T20I and test cricket, there were questions over his fitness and game time. But, he has put those speculations to rest after emerging as the Player of the Series against Australia and continuing that form against South Africa.
