IND vs WI ODI series will start on July 27. All eyes will be on Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli.

On Thursday, India and the West Indies will start the white-ball leg of the tour with their first ODI game. After winning the test series 1-0, India will look to start the ODI series with a win, while the hosts will look to bounce back to give their fans some reasons to celebrate. The first game will take place on July 27 at Kensington Oval in Bridgetown at 7:00 p.m. I.S.T.

This will be the only ODI series India will play before the Asia Cup 2023. Thus, Rohit Sharma and his team will have a good chance to test the new faces. India played the last ODI series against Australia in March, which they lost 1-2. All eyes will be on Virat Kohli. How will he perform in the ODIs? The former Indian skipper smashed his 76th century in the first innings of the second test in Trinidad.

People don't know what happens inside. Rohit Sharma reacts to Virat Kohli's century drought overseas

Virat Kohli scored 121 runs in the second test. It was his 29th Test ton, and with this, he broke the five-year-long century drought outside Asia in test cricket. On the eve of the first ODI, when the Indian captain Rohit Sharma addressed the media, he was also asked about Virat's century drought or if there had been any conversations with him about his hundreds. Rohit, who has been repeatedly asked the question about Virat's century, said that the team doesn't care about it.

Rohit Sharma said that he has stated that he has answered such questions many times and added that the team is focusing on the upcoming ODI series. He said, "All the outside talk, who scored how many, took how many wickets... people who say such things don't know what happens inside. For us, what happens inside stays inside. We prefer that. For us, the most important is to win matches, not who's talking what. It doesn't matter to us."

The ODI series will conclude on August 1, which will be followed by a five-match T20I series. Notably, Rohit and Virat are not part of the shorter format, and it will be Hardik Pandya who will lead the Indian team. The tour will end on August 13 with the last and final T20I series.
