[Watch] Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul undergo skills and strength training at the BCCI’s COE ahead of West Indies tests and Australia tour

Rohit Sharma is the ODI captain of India, while KL Rahul is a regular member of the side in tests and ODIs.
While the young guns of the Indian Cricket Team are currently busy with Asia Cup 2025, the senior players are making sure that they prepare tirelessly for tests and the ODI games ahead. And among those, 50-over skipper Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul are the ones who are putting in the hard yards.
Both Rohit and Rahul were at the Board of Control for Cricket in India’s (BCCI) Center of Excellence (COE) recently. The two greats of the Indian cricket begin their training for the upcoming assignments with Rahul practicing for tests against the West Indies and Rohit preparing for the ODIs against Australia.
A few days after undergoing fitness tests at the BCCI’s COE, both Rohit and Rahul marked their attendance at the new NCA to get some practice under their belt. Both the batters underwent skills and strength training under different conditions at COE.

The BCCI posted the video on their official social handle, sharing how Rohit and KL underwent training. The duo were seen putting in hard yards in the gym before spending some time in the middle. They captioned the video:
“As part of their preparation for the upcoming assignments, Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul trained at the BCCI Centre of Excellence focusing on skills and strength training. Both players simulated the different conditions on offer at the CoE during their.”

Rohit, who has retired from the T20Is and tests, will be featuring only in ODIs. He is expected to lead the side in the three-match series against Australia, beginning 19th October. This will be the first time he will be seen in action after Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025.
On the other hand, Rahul had a terrific time with the bat in the tests against England. Opening for India, he slammed 532 runs in 10 innings at an average of 53.20, with two centuries, two fifties and a best score of 137, he helped India level the five-match series by a margin of 2-2.
