Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Mumbai Indians (MI) will square off in match 13 of the Indian Premier League 2026. It is the third game for both sides in the tournament.
Riyan Parag & Co. have been unbeaten in the tournament so far, winning both of their opening matches. They won their first game against CSK by 8 wickets. In their previous game against the Gujarat Titans, RR won by six runs in a close-fought encounter.
On the other hand, the Mumbai Indians won their opening game against KKR but lost their previous game against the Delhi Capitals. Captain Hardik Pandya missed the previous game due to illness, but will be back against RR.
The KKR vs PBKS IPL 2026 match on Monday was abandoned due to rain, with only four overs being played in the first innings.
Weather report of Guwahati ahead of RR vs MI clash
The RR vs MI clash will start at 7 PM with the toss at Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati. Some media reports have claimed that Guwahati witnessed light rain showers on Tuesday afternoon.
According to weather.com, the temperature of Guwahati will be 19° Celsius. The sky will be cloudy, and thunderstorms can be observed.
The chances of rain are 49% on Tuesday. However, at the exact time of the match, i.e. 7:30 pm, the chance of rain is 14%, but there will be about 95% cloud cover. The humidity will be 72%. Therefore, the RR vs MI game is likely to be affected by the weather.
Notably, Guwahati has witnessed showers on previous match days, but the games were not affected by rain. Each match is allowed 60 minutes of extra time to compensate for weather delays.
Furthermore, a five-over match is required for a result. If the match is washed out, both teams will be awarded one point each.
