Sanvir Singh was purchased by SRH for 20 lakhs at the IPL 2023 auction. Despite only featuring in 2 matches thus far, SRH retained him for the IPL 2024 at the same price of 20 lakhs.

24. Anmolpreet Singh – ₹20 lakhs:

Anmolpreet Singh was acquired by SRH for 20 lakhs at the IPL 2023 auction. Previously associated with Mumbai Indians, he has played 7 matches, scoring 134 runs. SRH retained him for the IPL 2024 at the same price of 20 lakhs.

23. Nitish Kumar Reddy – ₹20 lakhs:

Nitish Kumar Reddy was purchased by SRH for 20 lakhs at the IPL 2023 auction. Despite having played only two matches so far, SRH retained him for the IPL 2024 at the same price of 20 lakhs.

22. Jhathavedh Subramanyan – ₹20 lakhs:

Jhathavedh Subramanyan was acquired by SRH for 20 lakhs at the IPL 2024 auction. This marks his debut season in the IPL, and he is eager to showcase his skills if given the opportunity to play.

21. Akash Singh – ₹20 lakhs:

Akash Singh was purchased by SRH at the IPL 2024 auction for 20 lakhs. Before joining SRH, he was associated with Rajasthan Royals, although he did not play any matches for them, and later played for CSK. Up to this point, he has participated in 7 matches and claimed 5 wickets.

20. Upendra Singh Yadav – ₹25 lakhs:

Upendra Singh Yadav was acquired by SRH for 25 lakhs at the IPL 2023 auction. Despite not having made his debut yet, SRH retained him for the IPL 2024 at the same price of 25 lakhs.

Mayank Markande was purchased by SRH for 50 lakhs at the IPL 2023 auction. Before joining SRH, he had stints with Mumbai Indians, then Rajasthan Royals, and later returned to Mumbai Indians. Currently, he has participated in 30 matches, claiming 29 wickets. SRH retained him for the IPL 2024 at the same price of 50 lakhs.

18. Fazalhaq Farooqi – ₹50 lakhs:

Fazalhaq Farooqi was purchased by SRH for 50 lakhs at the IPL 2022 mega auction. Despite limited appearances, he has shown promise, featuring in 7 matches and securing 6 wickets. SRH retained him for the IPL 2024, maintaining his contract at 50 lakhs.

17. Glenn Phillips – ₹1.50 crores:

Glenn Phillips was acquired by SRH for Rs. 1.5 crores at the IPL 2022 mega auction. Prior to joining SRH, he had represented Rajasthan Royals. Despite limited opportunities, Phillips has showcased his skills in 8 IPL matches, scoring 65 runs. He got retained by SRH for the IPL 2024 season for 1.50 crores.

16. Wanindu Hasaranga – ₹1.50 crores:

Wanindu Hasaranga was acquired by SRH for bis base price of Rs. 1.5 crores at the IPL 2024 auction. Prior to joining SRH, he had represented RCB. With 26 matches under his belt, Hasaranga has taken 35 wickets in his IPL career so far.

15. Jaydev Unadkat – ₹1.60 crores:

Jaydev Unadkat was acquired by SRH at the IPL 2024 auction for 1.6 crores. Prior to joining SRH, he has played for multiple franchises including Kolkata Knight Riders, Royal Challengers Bangalore (now Royal Challengers Bengaluru), Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals), Rising Pune Supergiants, Rajasthan Royals, Mumbai Indians, and Lucknow Super Giants. With 94 matches to his credit, Unadkat has taken 91 wickets so far in his IPL career.

14. Shahbaz Ahmed – ₹2.40 crores:

Before the IPL 2024 auction, Shahbaz Ahmed was traded to SRH from Royal Challengers Bangalore (now Royal Challengers Bengaluru). With 39 matches under his belt, he has contributed with both bat and ball, taking 14 wickets and scoring 321 runs. His price for the IPL 2024 is set at 2.4 crores.

13. Aiden Markram – ₹2.60 crores:

Aiden Markram was acquired by SRH for 2.6 crores at the IPL 2022 mega auction. Prior to joining SRH, he played for Punjab Kings in 2021. Markram has featured in 33 matches, accumulating 775 runs. He got retained by SRH for 2.6 crores for the IPL 2024.

12. T. Natarajan – ₹4 crores:

T. Natarajan was initially acquired by Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) during the IPL 2018 auction for 40 lakhs. He was later reacquired at the IPL 2022 mega auction for 4 crores. Prior to joining SRH, he played for Kings XI Punjab (now known as Punjab Kings). With 47 matches under his belt, Natarajan has taken 48 wickets. He got retained by SRH for 4 crores for the IPL 2024.

11. Abdul Samad – ₹4 crores:

Abdul Samad was initially bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad for 20 lakhs at the IPL 2020 auction. He showed promise and was subsequently retained for 4 crores before the IPL 2022 mega auction. So far, Samad has played in 34 matches, accumulating 395 runs. He got retained by SRH for the IPL 2024 for 4 crores.

10. Umran Malik – ₹4 crores:

Umran Malik was initially selected as one of the net bowlers for Sunrisers Hyderabad. Later he was bought by the franchise at IPL 2021 auction for Rs. 20 lakhs. In October 2021, he made his debut in the IPL. Ahead of the IPL 2022 mega auction, he was retained by SRH for Rs. 4 crores. So far, Malik has played in 25 matches, securing 29 wickets. He got retained by SRH for the IPL 2024 for the same price of 4 crores.

9. Marco Jansen – ₹4.20 crores:

Marco Jansen was acquired by Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) for 4.2 crores at the IPL 2022 mega auction. Prior to joining SRH, he represented Mumbai Indians. With promising performances, Jansen has played in 18 matches, securing 19 wickets. SRH retained him for the IPL 2024 for the same price of 4.2 crores.

8. Bhuvneshwar Kumar – ₹4.20 crores:

Bhuvneshwar Kumar was initially bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad for 4.25 crores during the IPL 2014 Auction. He has remained a key member of SRH since then. Before the IPL 2018 auction, SRH retained him for 8.5 crores, and he was later re-signed at the IPL 2022 mega auction for 4.2 crores.

Prior to joining SRH, he was part of the Royal Challengers Bangalore squad but did not get a chance to play. He also represented Pune Warriors India from 2011 to 2013. With an impressive track record, Bhuvneshwar has played in 160 matches, claiming 170 wickets. SRH retained him for the IPL 2024 for 4.20 crores.

7. Heinrich Klaasen – ₹5.25 crores:

Heinrich Klaasen was acquired by SRH for 5.25 crore at the IPL 2023 auction. Prior to joining SRH, he had stints with Rajasthan Royals in 2018 and RCB in 2019. In his IPL career spanning 19 matches, Klaasen has scored 514 runs. SRH retained him for the IPL 2024 for the same price of 5.25 crores.

Abhishek Sharma was initially acquired by SRH at the IPL 2019 auction for 55 lakhs before being reacquired at the IPL 2022 mega auction for a hefty sum of 6.5 crore. Prior to his tenure with SRH, Sharma played for Delhi Daredevils (now known as Delhi Capitals) in 2018. With 47 matches under his belt, Sharma has accumulated 893 runs. He got retained by SRH for the IPL 2024 for the same sum of 6.5 crores.

5. Travis Head – ₹6.80 crores:

Sunrisers Hyderabad secured Travis Head, Australia’s World Cup hero, for a notable sum of Rs 6.80 crores at the IPL 2024 auction. Prior to joining SRH, Head had a stint with Royal Challengers Bangalore (now Royal Challengers Bengaluru) in 2016-2017. Despite his limited IPL experience, having played only 10 matches, he has showcased promise by scoring 205 runs.

4. Mayank Agarwal – ₹8.25 crores:

At the IPL 2023 auction, SRH acquired Mayank Agarwal for a substantial sum of 8.25 crores. Prior to his stint with SRH, Mayank has represented various teams including Royal Challengers Bangalore (now Royal Challengers Bengaluru), Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals), Rising Pune Supergiants, and Punjab Kings. With an extensive experience of playing in 123 matches, Mayank has scored 2597 runs. SRH retained him for the IPL 2024 at the same price of 8.25 crores.

At the IPL 2022 mega auction, SRH secured Rahul Tripathi for a significant sum of 8.5 crores. Prior to joining SRH, he has showcased his talent with Rising Pune Supergiants, Rajasthan Royals, and Kolkata Knight Riders. Tripathi boasts an impressive record, having participated in 89 matches and accumulating 2071 runs. SRH has retained him for the IPL 2024 at the same price of 8.5 crores.

2. Washington Sundar – ₹8.75 crores:

At the IPL 2022 mega auction, Washington Sundar was acquired by SRH for a hefty sum of 8.75 crores. Prior to joining SRH, he has showcased his skills with Rising Pune Supergiants and Royal Challengers Bangalore (now Royal Challengers Bengaluru). With valuable experience under his belt, Sundar has participated in 58 matches, securing 36 wickets, and contributing 378 runs with the bat. He got retained by SRH for the same amount of 8.75 crores for the IPL 2024.

Pat Cummins was bought by SRH for a staggering 20.5 crores at the IPL 2024 auction, marking the second-highest bid ever in IPL history. Prior to joining SRH, Cummins has represented Kolkata Knight Riders, Delhi Daredevils (now known as Delhi Capitals), and then returned to Kolkata Knight Riders. With an impressive track record, Cummins has participated in 42 matches, claiming 45 wickets, and contributed 379 runs with the bat.
