Islamabad United and Peshawar Zalmi were scheduled to clash in match 7 of Pakistan Super League 2026 on Tuesday, March 31. The venue of the encounter is Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, but the match has been delayed due to bad weather.
Shadab Khan is leading Islamabad United in PSL 2026. They lost their opening game against Multan Sultans by five wickets as they failed to defend 171 in the encounter.
On the other hand, Peshawar Zalmi are led by Babar Azam in the tournament. They made a winning start by defeating Rawalpindiz in their opening game by five wickets, chasing down a 215-run target in the clash.

ISL vs PES: Strong winds take ground staff along with it
Their second match in the tournament on March 31 was delayed due to heavy rain in Lahore. The match was expected to start at 7 PM local time; however, the toss was delayed due to rain.
Moreover, strong winds at the stadium hampered the ground staff’s efforts to protect the pitch from rain. Due to strong winds, some ground staff members fell on the ground. The videos of the moment went viral on the social media platform Twitter (formerly X).
Meanwhile, Islamabad United are placed in the seventh spot in the points table after their defeat in the opening game. Peshwar Zalmi grab the fourth spot with two points.
The PSL 2026 commenced on March 26. The tournament features a battle among eight teams for the title, with the addition of two new teams- Hyderabad Kingsmen and Rawalpindiz.
The tournament also witnessed its first-ever mega auction ahead of the tournament, where many domestic and overseas players bagged expensive contracts.
