Teams to win most Pakistan Super League (PSL) titles
All the PSL teams have won the title at least once.
The Pakistan Super League (PSL) is one of the most exciting franchise tournaments in the world. It came into existence in 2016, when the inaugural season was played. Since then, it has been an annual affair. The tournament started with five teams in it, but now a total of six teams take part every season, which produces incredible talent for Pakistan.
This league has gained popularity over the years, and some big names in the world have taken part to make it more exciting. With such competitiveness, it is not easy for any one team to perform consistently and win regularly. That is why so far, every team has won at least one title. However, here we will talk about the teams with the most Pakistan Super League (PSL) titles.

Here are the teams to win most Pakistan Super League (PSL) titles:
6. Karachi Kings – 1
Karachi Kings are the underachievers in the PSL tournament. They have not made it to the playoffs in last three seasons – 2022, 2023, 2024. But before that, they made six playoffs on the trot from 2016 to 2021. Karachi qualified for the finals only once in 2020, and they went on to lift the trophy in their first attempt. They beat Lahore Qalandars to win their first title.

5. Quetta Gladiators – 1
In the first four seasons of the PSL, Quetta Gladiators played three finals. But unfortunately, they ended up on the losing side in the first two editions. But they made it in their third attempt in 2019 under Sarfaraz Ahmed’s leadership. Quetta beat Peshawar Zalmi in the final to win their maiden title.

4. Peshawar Zalmi – 1
Peshawar Zalmi are certainly the most consistent yet unlucky team in the PSL history. In all the nine seasons they have played, they made it to playoffs, but won the title only once. They ended as runners-up in 2018, 2019 and 2021. Their only title win came in 2017 edition of the tournament. They defeated Quetta Gladiators in the final by 58 runs to win their first and only PSL title.

3. Multan Sultans – 1
Multan Sultans made their PSL debut in the third season in 2018. They couldn’t make it to the top four in their first two seasons. But in 2020, they finished in the top four. But then in 2021, under Mohammad Rizwan’s captaincy, they won their maiden title, beating Peshawar Zalmi in the final. However, Multan qualified to the finals of 2022 and 2023 as well but lost both against Lahore Qalandars.

2. Lahore Qalandars – 2
Out of nine seasons so far, Lahore Qalandars couldn’t make the playoffs six times. But in the remaining three times when they made it to the playoffs, they ensured that they reach the finals. In 2020, they made it to the finals for the first time and then lost to Karachi Kings. After that, under Shaheen Afridi’s captaincy, they won consecutive seasons in 2022 and 2023, defeating Multan Sultans in the finals both times.
Title wins: 2022, 2023
1. Islamabad United – 3
The first team to win the PSL title were Islamabad United when they won the inaugural season, beating Quetta Gladiators in the final. Then they made it to the finals of 2018 as well and won it by beating Peshawar Zalmi, which made them the first team to win the tournament multiple times. In 2024, after a long wait of six years, Islamabad United won their third PSL trophy after defeating Multan Sultans in the final to become first ever team to win three PSL titles.
