Rajasthan Royals (RR) get the fifth spot in the list with seven qualifications to the playoffs in the IPL. RR won the title in the inaugural edition in 2008 but never bagged the champions tag again. In IPL 2022, they finished as runners-up after losing to the Gujarat Titans.

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) are tied at the fourth spot with 8 appearances in the playoffs. Out of eight times, KKR won the title in three seasons and ended as runners-up one (2021). SRH won their only trophy in 2016. They also ended as runners-up in 2018 and 2024.
