IPL 2019- Royal Challengers Bengaluru
Under Virat Kohli’s captaincy, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) observed their worst start in IPL 2019. They failed to win any of their six games at the start. In their seventh game, they crushed the Punjab Kings by eight wickets.
IPL 2022- Mumbai Indians
Mumbai Indians (MI) witnessed their worst start in IPL 2022, losing eight games in a row. They bagged the unwanted record for most consecutive defeats at the start of an IPL season. With just four wins, Rohit Sharma & Co. eventually finished last in the points table.
IPL 2026- Kolkata Knight Riders
Ajinkya Rahane is the captain of the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in IPL 2026. They have been the worst performers so far, failing to win any of their first six games. They have lost five games, while one clash was abandoned due to rain.
