4. Gujarat Titans- IPL 2022 & 2023
Gujarat Titans (GT) joined the tournament in IPL 2022, when the league was expanded to 10 teams. Under Hardik Pandya’s captaincy, they scripted history by winning the tournament in their maiden season. In the next season too, Gujarat progressed to the final but lost to CSK in a close-fought clash.
3. Mumbai Indians- IPL 2019 & 2020
Mumbai Indians won their fourth title in IPL 2019 by defeating CSK in the final. They also reached the final of IPL 2020 and won the title, becoming the first team to win five IPL trophies. Mumbai defeated Delhi Capitals in the final of the 2020 edition to defend their title.
2. Chennai Super Kings- IPL 2018 & 2019
After completing their two-year ban in 2016 and 2017, Chennai made a comeback in IPL 2018. They bagged the trophy by defeating Sunrisers Hyderabad in the final. They also booked a berth in the IPL 2019 final; however, they lost to MI in a close-fought match.

Under MS Dhoni‘s captaincy, Chennai Super Kings won their first trophy in the 2010 edition. Later, they reached the final in the next three consecutive seasons.
In IPL 2011, they defeated RCB in the final to defend their title. However, they lost to the Kolkata Knight Riders and Mumbai Indians in the 2012 and 2013 finals, respectively.
