Chennai Super Kings top the chart of brand value in the IPL after winning their fifth title.

The Indian Premier League has taken giant steps in brand value since its inception. Not just the Indian board, but the IPL franchises have also benefited with every passing season. Just like the last edition, when the Chennai Super Kings bagged their fifth IPL title, beating the Gujarat Titans in the final. It has helped CSK increase their brand value, and now they are at the top of the list among the other teams. As compared to the brand value of 2022, the IPL has almost doubled it in 2023. It has shot up to USD 3.2 billion in 2023 from USD 1.8 billion in 2022.

Meanwhile, the increased media rights have also helped IPL franchises increase their brand value. According to Houlihan Lokey’s IPL Valuation Study 2023 report, media rights are expected to increase more in the coming cycle. The report stated, "The IPL is expected to go global by the next cycle in 2027 on similar lines to EPL, which would further enhance the growth in its revenue from broadcasting rights."

Here is the list of Current Brand values for all IPL teams after the 2023 edition:
