Twitter reacts as Heinrich Klaasen brings up his maiden IPL hundred

Sunrisers Hyderabad's wicket-keeper batsman Heinrich Klaasen scored 104 off 51 deliveries against Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Sunrisers Hyderabad batsman Heinrich Klassen has smashed his first-ever IPL century. Taking on Royal Challengers Bangalore's bowlers, Klassen took 49 balls to reach his first-ever Indian Premier League hundred and his second T20 century in his career. Klassen’s 49-ball hundred is the second-fastest century by a Sunrisers Hyderabad batsman. Former SRH captain David Warner still holds the record of the fastest century by an SRH batter in the IPL. Warner smashed a 43-ball hundred against Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL 2017 at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium. Klassen has been in superb form for Sunrisers in the IPL 2023.

Fans on social media have praised Heinrich Klassen’s consistency in the IPL 2023. Heinrich Klassen has come out as a rescuer for Sunrisers Hyderabad this season. On many occasions, he has taken charge of batting but lacked support from the other end. Fans have also claimed that Klassen is one most underrated batters in the IPL 2023. Klassen has also earned praise for his ability to attack spinner, being a foreigner not many of them can bat on the front foot against spinners. 

Sunrisers Hyderabad were 28 for 2 down inside the powerplay and then Heinrich Klassen came in to take them out of danger. Klassen added 76 runs with captain Aiden Markram (15) for the 3rd wicket and then, later on, went on to add 74 runs with Harry Brook (27). Heinrich Klassen smashed 8 fours and 6 sixes in his 51-ball innings and scored 104 runs. His innings has also put Hyderabad in a decent position against RCB. They have scored 186 runs and given RCB 187 runs to chase.
