Uganda Schedule for ICC T20 World Cup 2024, Fixtures, Dates, Venues

Uganda will make their debut in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024.
The 9th edition of the ICC T20 World Cup is scheduled to take place in the USA and West Indies. To make it bigger, the International Cricket Council (ICC) has made it a 20-team tournament. These teams will play a total of 55 matches in the tournament, which will kick off on June 1. The final will be played on June 29 in Barbados.
The first round of the tournament will have four groups with five teams in each. Group C is looking more interesting, with some good teams slotted in it. Two teams each from four groups will make it to the Super 8. Group C will contain New Zealand, West Indies, Afghanistan, Uganda, and Papua New Guinea. This will be the first time that Uganda will feature in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. They will make their debut in this competition.
Uganda will face Afghanistan in their first game of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 on June 3 in Guyana.
It will be the debut tournament for Uganda, and they will share the field with some big teams and names. This is going to be a life-changing experience for their players when they rub shoulders with some legends in this format. Notably, Uganda were the 20th team to qualify for the ICC T20 World Cup 2024. They qualified through the Africa Region Qualifier 2023.
Uganda made it through the qualifiers by beating teams like Zimbabwe and Kenya, which means that they will not be easy opponents for the other teams. And we can expect a big upset when they face the bigger teams. Uganda will play their first game of the tournament against Afghanistan on June 3 in Guyana. Their second game will be on June 5 at the same venue against Papua New Guinea. They will be playing their next match on June 8 against West Indies in Guyana. Their last group match will be played in Trinidad on June 14 against New Zealand.
