In a shocking event at the Lord's, Usman Khawaja was stopped by a MCC member during intervals.

The second test of the Ashes 2023 between England and Australia is underway at Lord's, and we are watching some cracking moments on the final day of the game. The English captain Ben Stokes, has smashed a brilliant century and is standing between Australia and a win. He has pulled his team back from a position of defeat and looks like he will repeat his heroics at Headingley in 2019.

England lost two wickets in the first session on the fifth day. Ben Duckett got out after scoring a well-made 83, while Jonny Bairstow got out in a controversial way. However, apart from the on-field controversy, a shocking event took place after the end of the morning session when the Australian players were going back to the dugout. Australian opener Usman Khawaja was stopped by a spectator before the security intervened.

England fought well in the first session, led by their captain. Stokes reached his 13th Test ton with three consecutive sixes off Cameron Green. He has added a vital partnership with Stuart Broad of more than 100 runs for the seventh wicket. Meanwhile, the ugly incident took place after the end of the morning session on Day 5. Stokes and Broad got a standing ovation from the crowd.

However, when the Australian players were heading to the dugout, one of the MCC members stopped Usman Khawaja and had an exchange of words with him. Suddenly, the security personnel came in to intervene and took Khawaja away. Former English captain Eoin Morgan, who has been associated with Lord's, was surprised and shocked after watching such an instance.

However, they couldn't add much in their second innings. Australia managed 279 runs in their second innings. England were set a target of 379 runs to chase. Stokes has taken his team near the target, but there is still a long way to go.
