Virat Kohli is celebrating his 35th birthday on Sunday, 5th November while India entered the field against South Africa at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. The Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) has planned several things to make the day special for Virat Kohli. Over 70,000 masks of Virat Kohli will be available for the fans during the game to wish India’s chase-master a very happy birthday at Eden Gardens in Kolkata.

According to a few media reports, Virat Kohli’s career highlights will be played on the screens for 30 minutes during the first innings break during India vs South Africa game. A special cake was cut in front of the crowd. There will be a laser and fireworks show to celebrate Virat’s career. Virat Kohli will be honored by Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. Virat Kohli has recently completed a rare milestone of scoring 1000 runs in a calendar year for eight times in his 15-years-long limited-overs career. This was the first time in the history of Indian cricket that team India won a 4-match test series down under by 2-1 after defeating Australia in the first test at Adelaide Oval and in the third test match of the series played at iconic MCG ground. Team India went on to win one more test series in Australia in the 2020–21 tour, and they are currently unbeaten against the Kangaroos in test format.
