Watch: KL Rahul starts batting in nets, shares video

KL Rahul got ruled out of the action following his thigh injury in the IPL 2023 on 1st May.

After being out of action for over three months due to an injury, KL Rahul recently shared a video on Instagram of himself back in action during net practice. To allow sufficient time for his injury to heal, he took an extended break from the game. The injury occurred during the IPL 2023 season while playing against RCB, which unfortunately led to him missing the rest of the season.

During LSG's home game against RCB in IPL 2023, which got famous for the fight between RCB star Virat Kohli and LSG members Gautam Gambhir and Naveen Ul Haq, KL Rahul injured his thigh while fielding in the first innings. He returned to bat at the end, but the captain couldn't take his side to a win.

As a result, he underwent surgery in London. Following the surgical procedure, he began his rehabilitation program at Bangalore's National Cricket Academy, where he is working diligently to recover and regain his peak physical condition.

This injury had significant repercussions for KL Rahul's participation in crucial matches. One of the most anticipated events he missed was the World Test Championships final against Australia. Additionally, he had to sit out the ongoing series against the West Indies.

For now, the exact timeline for KL Rahul's return to the Indian team remains uncertain. However, cricket enthusiasts worldwide hold hope that he will make a full recovery in time for the 2023 World Cup.

As KL Rahul continues on his rehabilitation journey, his fans and well-wishers will be closely monitoring his progress and offering their best wishes for a speedy recovery.
