Many fans have supported Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in their wins and losses, but for one die-hard fan, it extends to permanent ink. A dedicated supporter of the Bengaluru franchise has recently gained attention for fulfilling a unique promise.
After Smriti Mandhana-led RCB women won the franchiseâs maiden trophy with WPL 2024 triumph, a die-hard fan of the franchise tattooed names of all squad members who were part of RCBâs WPL 2024 title win.
On March 17, 2024, Smriti Mandhana-led RCB took on Meg Lanning-led Delhi Capitals in the WPL 2024 final at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi.
DC opted to bat first, but their decision backfired as they just managed to score 113 runs after having a stunning opening wicket partnership of 64 runs between Shafali Verma and skipper Lanning. RCBâs spin trio consisting of Asha Sobhana, Shreyanka Patil and Sophie Molineux pulled things back as they claimed nine wickets.
