Wriddhiman Saha took three back-to-back great catches against Delhi Capitals.

Delhi Capitals are in absolute disarray after losing 5 wickets in the power play against Gujarat Titans. Titans' pacer Mohammed Shami and wicket-keeper Wriddhiman Saha’s duo have wreaked havoc in Delhi’s camp. Shami picked up 4 wickets in his first 3 overs to give Delhi early blows. From David Warner to Manish Pandey to Priyam Garag no batter could stand tall against Shami’s new ball movement. Wriddhiman Saha behind the wicket made Delhi’s life more troubled in the game. Saha plucked three back-to-back catches in Shami’s spell. Saha picked one of the great catches in the IPL 2023 as well to dismiss dangerous Manish Pandey back in the dugout.

Flying Wriddhiman Saha takes a great catch to send back Manish Pandey packing

In the 5th over of the game, Shami picked two wickets. One was Manish Pandey and another was Priyam Garg. Manish Pandey defying Shami’s movement went for a drive on his full-length delivery. Without any foot movement, Pandey got an outside edge, Alert Saha behind the wicket, flying to his right with a full-stretch dive plucked a great catch. While taking the catch he showed a masterclass in keeping as well. Saha while making a dive didn’t let his elbow touch the ground, this made him uncomfortable but this made him grab the ball tight and didn’t let it come out from the gloves.

Shami in his 4 overs spell picked up 4 wickets and conceded only 11 runs. Wriddhiman Saha also took 3 catches in the innings so far. Delhi’s batting has been suffering a lot this season and the Titans have taken good advantage of Capitals' vulnerability.
