Gujarat Titans (GT), Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), Punjab Kings (PBKS), and Mumbai Indians (MI) will be featuring in the business end and with the kind of cricket that they have played, it promises to be an enthralling last stage of the tournament.
All four teams, GT, RCB, PBKS and MI are contenders for the top two spots in the points table, which gives them an extra cushion in the playoffs. While their on-field performances have been magnificent, the franchises have made the headlines off the field as well.
Which IPL team has the most followers on Instagram?
Apart from the cricket in the IPL 2025, the social media banters and engagements have been top-notch, and in that game, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) have emerged as winners. The Rajat Patidar-led side hogged the headlines on Monday (26th May) when they garnered the highest number of followers on Instagram.
RCB completed 20 million followers on Instagram and became the first ever team in the history of the IPL to go past this mark, becoming the IPL team with the most followers on Instagram. They are followed by Chennai Super Kings, who have 18.6 million followers.
Mumbai Indians are third on the list with 18 million followers, while Kolkata Knight Riders, with 7.5 million and Sunrisers Hyderabad are next on the list with 5.4 million followers.
Coming to the campaign of Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the IPL 2025, the Rajat Patidar-led side has been terrific with the bat and ball. They won 6 out of their 7 away games this season and are one of the strong favourites to win the ongoing edition of the league.
RCB are currently placed third on the points table with 8 wins and 4 losses from 13 games. To finish the league stage in the top two, they will need to win their last game against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), as it will ensure them a place in Qualifier 1.
The LSG vs RCB clash will be the last league game in the IPL 2025. This match will be played on Tuesday (27th May) at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.
