Hardik Pandya last played in IPL 2026 for the Mumbai Indians.
Indian Cricket Team all-rounder Hardik Pandya has been out of action from competitive cricket since the Indian Premier League 2026 ended. He missed a few games in that tournament as well. Pandya is recovering from a quadriceps injury that had ruled him out of the UK tour.
The 32-year-old was not picked for the ODI series against England due to the same injury. Nitish Reddy had replaced him in the team for the Afghanistan ODI series. Reports suggest that Hardik is not yet fit enough to bowl 10 overs in the 50-over format.
At the BCCI’s CoE (Centre of Excellence), it is understood that Hardik will have his own physiotherapist and a personal strength and conditioning (S&C) coach.
It is also reported that the net bowlers who help Hardik with the skill work and training are paid personally by him. He intends to play for at least five to six years and is eyeing to be fit for the ODI World Cup 2027.
Hardik Pandya permanently moves to Bengaluru- Reports

The star Indian all-rounder has permanently moved to Bengaluru for his training and skill development. Before this, Pandya stayed in Mumbai and availed himself of the facilities there.
PTI has reported that the centrally contracted cricketer intends to make the Centre of Excellence (CoE) his permanent training facility whenever he is not playing in the IPL or at the national or state level. To make commuting easier, the senior Indian player has rented a flat near the CoE on the outskirts of Bengaluru.
Reportedly, Pandya faced problems commuting between his home in Lower Parel, Mumbai, and the Mumbai Indians‘ training centre in Ghansoli.
While most Indian cricketers utilise the CoE facilities for their rehabilitation, fitness assessments and national camps, Hardik is the first player to make CoE his permanent training centre for the remainder of his career.
Meanwhile, the all-rounder last featured in the IPL 2026. Having an underwhelming season, he scored 206 runs and picked 4 wickets in 10 matches. Hardik captained MI in the tournament, where the team finished ninth in the points table.
