WPL 2025 auction: When and where to watch live streaming?

WPL 2025 auction is scheduled to take place on December 15 in Bengaluru
The highly anticipated Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2025 auction is set to take place on Sunday, December 15, 2024 in Bengaluru. The mini-auction will mark the beginning of another interesting chapter. The five teams will compete in the auction for a total of 19 remaining slots.
A total of 400 players initially registered their names for the auction. However, after discussions with all five franchises, the list was finally cut down to 120 players – including 91 Indians and 29 overseas cricketers.
The majority of franchises have retained their core squads while a few made bold moves by releasing some star players before the event. Notable names among those let go were Sneh Rana, Poonam Yadav, Lea Tahuhu, Heather Knight and Issy Wong.
The players who are shortlisted for the auction, have been divided into three categories of base price: INR 50 lakhs, INR 30 lakhs, and INR 10 lakhs. Notably, Deandra Dottin, Heather Knight, and Lizelle Lee have registered under the highest base price bracket of INR 50 lakhs.
WPL 2025 auction: Purse available for all franchise
Gujarat Giants (GG) will enter the WPL auction with the biggest purse of INR 4.4 crores, while Delhi Capitals have the least with INR 2.5 crores. The purse for all the franchises is listed below:
1. Delhi Capitals: ₹2.5 crores
2. Gujarat Giants: ₹4.4 crores
3. Mumbai Indians: ₹2.65 crores
4. UP Warriorz: ₹3.9 crores
5. Royal Challengers Bengaluru: ₹3.25 crores
