WPL 2025 is scheduled to start on February 14.

The third season of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) is scheduled to kick off on February 14, 2025. The opening game of the tournament will see defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) take on Gujarat Giants (GG) in Vadodara.

The WPL 2025 season will feature 22 matches across 30 days. The 20 league games will be followed by the Eliminator and the final. The final is slated for March 15 in Mumbai.

The playoffs stage in the WPL has a different format compared to the Indian Premier League (IPL). The top three teams out of five from the league stage advance to the next round. The team finishing at the top of the table gets a direct entry into the final, while the second and third-placed teams fight in the Eliminator for a spot in the final.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru will enter the season as the defending champions. The inaugural season in 2023 was won by the Mumbai Indians.
