Sikandar Raza to lead as Zimbabwe announce 17-man squad for India T20Is

Zimbabwe will host India for five T20Is from 6th to 14th July.
Zimbabwe Cricket have announced a young 17-man squad for the upcoming five-match T20I series against the Indian cricket team starting from July 6 to 14. All five games will be played at the Harare Sports Club. The Zimbabwe cricket team will look to start on a fresh note under the head coach Justin Sammons.
Veteran Zimbabwe all-rounder Sikandar Raza is all set to lead the young and promising squad for the five-match T20I series against India. Interestingly, Zimbabwe Cricket have also named the Belgian-born cricketer Antum Naqvi, who is a 25-year-old batter.
However, Naqvi’s final inclusion is subject to confirmation of his citizenship status, the cricket board said in a release. The 25-year-old Naqvi was born to Pakistani parents in Brussels, Belgium, before he moved to Australia.
Surprisingly, veteran cricketers Craig Ervine and Sean Williams were not considered for selection. Ryan Burl, Joylord Gumbie and Ainsley Ndlovu were also left out of the 17-man line-up for the upcoming five-match T20I series against India.
