The EFL Cup 2022-23, currently known as the Carabao Cup for sponsorship reasons has returned for its 63rd season in 2022-23. The annual knockout football competition in men’s domestic English football kicked off from August 8 and will conclude on Sunday, February 23, 2023. The FIFA World Cup just ended and the football fans will again exited to see their favourite clubs playing again in this colloquially referred League Cup.
The EFL Cup is organized by the English Football League and there are total of 92 clubs who are currently in the four levels of the English Football League System comprising the English Premier League and the other three divisions of English Football League's own league competition (Championship, League one and League Two). Also, the knockout football competition in men’s domestic English football is played over seven rounds, with single-leg ties, excepting the semi-finals.
Also, the winner of the EFL Cup 2022-23 will directly qualify for the UEFA Europa Conference League play-off round.
When is the EFL Cup 2022-23 Final?
The final match of the 63rd edition of the EFL Cup will commence on February 26, 2023 at the Wembley Stadium, London.

Liverpool defeated Chelsea in the finals of 2021-22 edition of the EFL Cup. After 11-10 penalties after the game finished 0-0 in regulation time. Also the Reds hold the record of winning nine league titles in the competition after wining the 2021-22 championship.

Firstly, the matches of EFL Cup semi-finals will take place on 24 January and 25 January. Also, the second leg will be on 31st January and 1st February.
