The winger is currently in scintillating form for Hyderabad FC.

Halicharan Narzary is set to sign a contract with Bengaluru FC, Khel Now can confirm. A source close to the development informed Khel Now, "Halicharan Narzary is to join Bengaluru FC in the summer transfer window. It is a three-year deal for the winger."

The winger has been in bright form during the ongoing Indian Super League (ISL 2022-23) season. His addition in the summer will be a perfect inclusion to a Bengaluru FC contingent, who are working full-fledged to turn around their fortunes.

About the Player

Halicharan Narzary has been a part of Hyderabad FC since 2020. Prior to that, he played for FC Goa, NorthEast United, Kerala Blasters and Chennaiyin FC in the Indian Super League. Hailing from Pailan Arrows, Narzary started his career pretty well alongside the likes of Alwyn George and Co.

He has also featured for erstwhile I-League sides like Dempo SC and DSK Shivajians during his career.

This season, Halicharan Narzary has been in fine form. He scored three goals and assisted five times in 13 appearances. Under the tutelage of Manolo Marquez, he's been a source of threat from the left flank for the opposition.

Bengaluru FC's performance in the ISL 2022-23 season

Bengaluru FC have 'just' found back their lost momentum. The team went through a topsy-turvy start to the ISL 2022-23 campaign, where they seemed pretty inconsistent and conceded a lot through individual mistakes. However, currently, they are on a four-game winning run. Simon Grayson's side have been firing. The best part is that forward Roy Krishna has been back with his name on the scoresheets on consecutive occasions.

However, sealing their spot in the playoffs is still a challenge. With teams like Mumbai City and Hyderabad FC already confirming their presence, the Blues will now have to fight against FC Goa, Odisha, ATK Mohun Bagan, Kerala Blasters and even Chennaiyin FC, if they are to seek qualification.

Meanwhile, speaking about next season, the signature of Halicharan Narzary will be just one step towards the revamp which Bengaluru FC have in mind.
