Rajasthan United defender Hardik Bhatt has signed a loan deal with Mumbai City, Khel Now can confirm. “Hardik Bhatt has signed a loan deal with Mumbai City FC, with an option to buy. He will be joining in the January transfer window itself." a source close to the development informed Khel Now.
Hardik Bhatt was a key player for Rajasthan United. He featured in 10 matches for the Desert Warriors in the ongoing I-League 2022-23 campaign.
About the Player
Born on April 17, 1997, in Maharashtra, Hardik Bhatt started his career playing for ARA FC, a team which participates in the I-League second division.
In 2019, Hardik Bhatt signed a professional contract with FC Bengaluru United. He featured in a total of eight matches for Bengaluru United and scored twice for the outfit.
In 2021, Hardik Bhatt moved to Hyderya Sports FC, a club based in Kashmir. In December 13, 2021, Hardik made his move to Rajasthan United, which can be claimed to be a turning point in the defender’s career. He got a place in the team in both the I-League and the Durand Cup.
Hardik Bhatt is a versatile defender who can handle multiple positions in the backline. He has expertise in playing both as right-back and centre-back, and in certain situations, he can even be deployed as a left-back.
