Under the new manager, many players have gained their confidence back like Marcus Rashford, who is just not stopping, it is goal after goal for him. they are still alive in the FA Cup. This carabao cup final gives a very good opportunity for Ten Hag to win his first trophy with the Red Devils.
Newcastle is currently fifth in the league. They had a tremendous start to this season. The Magpies were among the top ranks all season till now. They have lost only two games this season, which is the lowest in the league. They have also drawn 11 times which is the joint most with Brentford till now. Since their Saudi-led takeover in 2021, they have seen an increase in their confidence as well as their performance.
