Fans will have a good few games to watch out for

We will witness some important games in the first week of March, and football fans will be eager to enjoy the big games. This week will mark the return of football, and the month of March will include the best matches. From Liverpool vs. United to El Clasico in the Copa del Rey, we've compiled a list of the top games from the first week of March below.

10. Napoli vs Lazio: Serie A

The inconsistent Lazio team will be welcomed at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona by league leaders Napoli on Friday. If the Partenopei defeat the Aquile, who will be eager to ruin the party, they will have the chance to take a brief 21-point advantage.

This season, Maurizio Sarri's team has unquestionably improved, despite a busy schedule of games that did little to help a group with a lack of depth. Fiorentina and Verona have exposed their weaknesses, but Lazio have also shown this season that it is capable of defeating some of Serie A's top teams.

9. Stuttgart vs Bayern Munich: Bundesliga

VfB Stuttgart hopes to turn things around after losing to Schalke 2-1 in their most recent Bundesliga match. In five of the last six games involving Stuttgart, at least three goals have been scored per game. In these games, opposition teams scored nine goals, while Stuttgart totalled eight. We'll find out if that pattern holds for the remainder of this game.

Bayern Munich will enter the match fresh off a 3-0 Bundesliga victory over Union Berlin. Bayern Munich has won all 12 of their previous league encounters against Stuttgart when those games were played away from their home stadium. There are few things better than that.

8. Liverpool vs Wolves: Premier League

Less than a month has passed since the unreliable Reds travelled to Molineux and put on one of the worst displays of the Jürgen Klopp era, losing to relegation contenders by a truly appalling score of 3-0 when the result should have and should have been far more resounding.

In January, the two teams also faced off in two FA Cup games, with Liverpool emerging victorious by a slim margin in a low-key replay following a thrilling four-goal draw on Merseyside that was full of controversy.

Wolves under Julen Lopetegui, meanwhile, dropped to 15th place and three points above the relegation zone after a key victory in a six-pointer against Southampton, a dismal home loss to Bournemouth, and a point at Fulham.

7. Manchester City vs Newcastle United: Premier League

The 1-4 Premier League victory against Bournemouth is what Manchester City supporters will want to replicate against Newcastle. Manchester City have been giving up goals fairly frequently lately, but they have also done well enough to score on their own opportunities. In their most recent six games, Manchester City scored five goals while giving up six.

Newcastle United will be looking to rebound after suffering a loss to Manchester United in EFL Cup play the previous time they played. In 5 of their previous 6 games, Newcastle United have been outscored, allowing a total of 7 goals to be scored against them. Newcastle United's defensive weaknesses have been made clear. Of course, there is a chance that this trend won't continue.

6. PSG vs Nantes: Ligue 1

Prior to their trip to Germany, PSG hosts Nantes. The Ligue 1 giants defeated Marseille with a three-goal victory as PSG looked to bounce back from a string of poor performances that included back-to-back losses. Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe currently appear to be in form, and they will hope that trend continues against Nantes.

Nantes, who are currently 13th in the standings and have played poorly, will be trying to turn things around when they visit Parc des Princess.

5. Borussia Dortmund vs RB Leipzig: Bundesliga

After defeating Hoffenheim 0-1 in Bundesliga, Borussia Dortmund will be hoping for a repeat performance. The Borussia Dortmund backline has shown to be quite solid, as evidenced by their most recent results. In their previous six games, Borussia Dortmund had allowed just three goals to go past their goalkeeper, demonstrating their stinginess.

RB Leipzig will enter this match off of a 2-1 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt in their most recent Bundesliga game. Leipzig, led by Marco Rose, have won 10 of their previous six games, scoring an average of 1.67 goals per contest. RB Leipzig had won all seven of their last away league games into this encounter.

4. AS Roma vs Juventus: Serie A

AS Roma has been a competitive team that has performed well under Jose Mourinho, AS Roma will be trying to qualify for the Champions League next season. Their match against Juventus could also determine where they finish in Serie A.

Juventus, meanwhile, is regaining its form and will be aiming for a top-four finish. Despite being docked 15 points, the players have also displayed amazing tenacity.

3. Arsenal vs Everton: Premier League

Arsenal will play Everton with vengeance in an effort to distance themselves from Manchester City in the Premier League title chase. The Gunners would move five points ahead of their opponents in the top tier with a win in their current matchup before the weekend when Arsenal will face mediocre Bournemouth and City will play Newcastle.

After a poor performance in the Merseyside derby and a home loss to Villa last time out in which they missed multiple excellent opportunities, Sean Dyche gained some experience with Everton with the victory over Arsenal. He also picked up a critical victory over Leeds in a six-point match. The Toffees are just one point away from safety and back in the relegation battle after other results went against them during the weekend.

2. Liverpool vs Manchester United: Premier League

This will be one of the best matches in the coming week, United are in one of the best shapes of their lives under Erick Ten Hag and recently won the Carabao Cup, their first-ever trophy after six years. United is third in the table and could also challenge for title if Arsenal drops points and they will be hoping to win against Liverpool at Anfield.

The Reds have been facing an inconsistent performance, their 5-2 defeat to Real Madrid and then draw against Crystal Palace has affected their winning momentum after back-to-back wins which hinted Liverpool might leave their poor form run behind them but that is not the case, and now they will host United hoping to turn things around.

1. Real Madrid vs Barcelona: Copa del Rey

When Real Madrid and Barcelona square off in the Copa del Rey "El Clasico," there will be fireworks. While Los Blancos kept their La Liga title aspirations alive by sharing a point with Atletico Madrid in "El Madrileno," Los Blancos' performance against them was anything but impressive. All of Rodrygo, David Alaba, and Ferland Mendy are still on the sidelines due to injury, but it is expected that Luka Modric and Aurelien Tchouameni will rejoin the starting lineup.

Barca, on the other hand, did not perform well in a 1-0 loss to Almeria, and given that they have not been in a good mood since being eliminated by Manchester United from the Europa League, a home victory should be taken into account. Raphihna, a summer acquisition, is no longer in the starting lineup, while Ansu Fati, Pedri, and Ousmane Dembele are still in the medical centre. Ronald Araujo has to be put back into the starting lineup.
