Red Bull Salzburg have been the highlight of European football. The Austrian team didn't advance to the Champions League knockout stages, but their outstanding performances against teams like Liverpool and Napoli won everyone over.

Sadio Mané to Southampton: €23M

In 2012, Sadio Mané left FC Metz to join Red Bull Salzburg in the Austrian Bundesliga, making him the third-most valuable player in league history.
