Jamshedpur FC in advanced talks with Jeremy Manzorro

The French midfielder is set to be a free agent in July.

French midfielder Jeremy Manzorro is in advanced talks with former Indian Super League Shield Winners Jamshedpur FC, Khel Now can confirm. Born in France, Manzorro is of Spanish origin and is currently plying his trade at Sandecja, a club which trades in the Polish second-tier.

A source tracking the move informed Khel Now, "Jamshedpur FC are in search of a new attacking midfielder and Jeremy Manzorro is their top priority. They started talks some time back and are currently closing in on the deal. The contract negotiations should conclude in a few days. He'll be a free agent in July."

Who is Jeremy Manzorro?

Jeremy Manzorro is an attacking midfielder, who has played in clubs like Stade Reims, Chernomorets 1919 Burgas, Slavia Sofia, Anorthosis, Shakhter Karagandy, FC Tobol and FC Astana. In March, he signed for Polish club Sandecja and is set to be a free agent by July.

This past season, he even played in the UEFA Europa Conference League Qualifiers, during his stay at FC Astana. Overall, in his entire career, he has played in many countries and featured in a total of 255 matches, scoring 35 goals and providing 42 assists. His inclusion in the Jamshedpur FC side will be a treat for fans and the club itself.

Jamshedpur FC's preparations for the upcoming season

The Men of Steel had a not-so-good 2022-23 season under the tutelage of Aidy Boothroyd. As a result, the club is ready to bring in Scott Cooper as their new tactician, as revealed by Khel Now earlier. Someone, who is adept in working with youngsters, Jamshedpur FC will be blessed to have someone like Cooper.

Speaking of players, Jamshedpur FC have signed Imran Khan (revealed by Khel Now in April) to strengthen their midfield. Also, as per reports, Chennaiyin FC forward Petar Sliskovic will be making his way to the Jamshedpur FC side as well.

The club ended 10th in the ISL last time and lost to Bengaluru FC in the Hero Super Cup semi-finals. This time, under the mentorship of Cooper, Jamshedpur will set their eyes on the trophy once again.
