Udanta Singh ends nine-year stint with Bengaluru FC

The Flash will turn out for FC Goa in the upcoming seasons.
Udanta Singh, one of the longest-serving players at Bengaluru FC, will leave the club after spending nine years with the club. The Indian winger was a vital part of the team during his tenure at the club and played a crucial role in Bengaluru's success in both domestic and international competitions.
His performances on the pitch and his contribution to the club's success earnt him plenty of plaudits from fans and pundits alike. However, the news of Udanta's departure from Bengaluru FC comes as a shock to many fans. The winger has been an integral part of the club for so long that it is hard to imagine him playing for another team.
Udanta's departure from Bengaluru FC was confirmed by Khel Now in January this year. It was revealed that the player has signed a multi-year deal with FC Goa, which will see him join the club for the upcoming season.
A bright career for club and country
Udanta joined Bengaluru FC in 2014 from the Tata Football Academy. He made his professional debut in the same year and quickly became one of the club's most important players. He won two Federation Cup titles, one I-League title, one Indian Super League title, one Super Cup, and one Durand Cup title with Bengaluru FC. He also played a crucial role in the club's run to the AFC Cup final in 2016, where they narrowly lost to Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya.
Udanta's performances also earned him regular call-ups to the Indian national team, where he has established himself as one of the best emerging wingers in the country. He has scored one goal in his 39 appearances for India and was part of the team that won the 2016 South Asian Football Federation Cup.
Bengaluru's loss is Goa's gain
The move to FC Goa will be a new chapter in Udanta's career as he looks to establish himself as a key player for his new team. The winger is known for his pace and dribbling skills and he will be a valuable asset to the Gaurs. Udanta will be hoping to hit the ground running and help FC Goa challenge for honors in the upcoming season.
Udanta's departure is a big blow to Bengaluru FC. The winger has been such an important player for the club over the years and his absence will be felt. However, the club has a good young squad and they will be looking to rebuild and challenge for silverware in the coming years.
