Bayern Munich claim their 33rd Bundesliga title following dramtic 2-1 win over FC Koln

FCB dethroned BVB on the final day of the season to lift the trophy yet again
As the final whistle blew, Bayern Munich have were named Bundesliga Champions after defeating 2-1 FC Koln, and the Bavarians made it 33 Bundesliga titles, although both the clubs could not be separated on points as Bayern won on goal difference.
After changes in management, the Bavarians are concluding the season with the Bundesliga title. However, the fact that things appeared to be going well under Julian Nagelsmann, Bayern fired him before their Champions League match against Manchester City, believing he was not the right guy to head the German powerhouse.
This Bayern appointment of Thomas Tuchel arrived as a surprise, and they anticipated the former Chelsea coach could lead Bayern to the top given what he accomplished at Chelsea in a short period of time.
That was never the case, despite the fact that he won his first game against his former club, Borussia Dortmund.
Bayern were subsequently eliminated from the DBF-Pokal, which came as a surprise. They then lost to Manchester City in the first round but drew in the second round at Allianz Arena, which was not enough to get them to the semi-finals, as they lost 4-1 on aggregate.
However, losses to Mainz and RB Leipzig were enough for them to forfeit their Bundesliga crown as they fell two points behind Dortmund.
And, despite their victory over Koln, they were to clinch the title, as Dortmund failed to overcome Mainz as they drew 2-2.
The six-time Champions League winner can take heart in the fact that it came down to the final game of the season.
And now, Bayern will have a busy summer signing new players, as there are specific areas that they need to work on in order to remain competitive at the top level next season.
Tuchel will be hoping to buy an elite striker, as Bayern have been somewhat unsuccessful in front of goal since the departure of Lewandowski.
However, dismissing Nagelsmann was an impetuous action, but Bayern somehow managed to end the season with a trophy, otherwise, it would have been one of the most abysmal campaigns in their history.
