Leicester City
Leicester City’s fairytale run in the Premier League has ended. The Foxes won the 2015-16 season and are now relegated to the second division. Things didn’t go in Leicester City’s favour from the start of the season. Brendan Rodgers only added one player in the summer transfer window. They had low squad depth and were unable to get three points. The Foxes suffered 22 losses, which led to their downfall.

The team went on to win nine matches and draw the other seven. They scored 51 goals and conceded 67. Leicester City spent most of their time in the relegation zone. This even led to two managerial changes. Leicester City’s final match in their nine-year top-flight run ended in a 2-1 win over West Ham United.

Leeds United
Leeds United’s short stay in the English Premier League ended after their 4-1 loss to Tottenham Hotspur in the final match. They ended the season with the worst defensive record. Leeds United have played under four different managers this season. After starting the season on a high, their season had a regular downfall.
Leeds United have lost 21 matches this season. This is their worst record in their 15 years of Premier League history. Leeds only managed seven wins and ten draws. Despite scoring more goals than eight teams in the top division, Leeds failed to keep a clean sheet in 33 league matches. They scored 48 goals and conceded 78. Leeds United defeated Chelsea and Liverpool, but the results were not enough to keep them in the Premier League.
