Aman C. K, Naseeb Rahman, and Muhammed Roshal P. P set to sign three-year contracts with East Bengal reserves
The Kerala trio from the development team impressed in the 2023 RFDL.
East Bengal FC are all set to give three-year contracts to their Development Team players Aman C. K, Naseeb Rahman, and Muhammed Roshal P. P, Khel Now can confirm.
"The three players displayed a promising performance under reserve team head coach and current senior team assistant coach Bino George in the recently concluded 2023 Reliance Foundation Development League. Previously the players joined the club by signing an amateur contract and their enactment in the RF Development League will earn them a three-year contracts in East Bengal FC," a source close to the development informed Khel Now.
About the Players
Aman C. K was born on March 19, 2003, in Kerala. A midfielder by position, Aman plied his trade for the B team of Mumbai City FC before joining East Bengal. He joined the development side of East Bengal FC on March 10, 2023, by signing an amateur contract. He made 3 appearances and scored a goal in the RF Development League.
Naseeb Rahman was born on October 19, 2002, in Kerala. He operates as a midfielder on the pitch. He made three appearances in the RF Development League and clocked a total of 213' minutes in the tournament.
Mohammad Roshal P. P was March 8, 2003, in Kerala. He's also a midfielder by position. He made 4 appearances in RF Development League and scored 2 goals for the Red and Gold.
East Bengal’s preparation for the 2023-24 season
East Bengal declared former Bengaluru FC tactician Carles Cuadrat as their new head coach. In terms of foreign signings, the club secured the services of Borja Herrera, Saul Crespo, and Javier Siverio.
The Red & Golds have also strengthened their Indian contingent, as they extended Lalchungnunga’s contract way back in December and brought back former skipper Harmanjot Khabra recently. Mandar Rao Dessai is the newest Indian addition to the squad, as revealed by Khel Now in April.
East Bengal have let go of a total of 11 players, including the likes of Jerry Lalrinzuala, Alex Lima, Charalambos Kyriakou, and Himanshu Jangra.
