Jio TV to stream 2023 AFC U-17 Asian Cup in India

Indian streaming platform Jio TV have announced that they will stream the live coverage of the AFC U-17 Asian Cup, which takes place from 15th June to 2nd July.
The tournament will be played in Thailand, and Indian viewers can catch a glimpse of the country's future footballing stars in action as the Indian U-17 football team players will aim to show their capabilities and potential.
About the tournament
The 2023 AFC U-17 Asian Cup will be the 19th edition of Asia’s premier U-17 football tournament, where the best teams from across the continent compete for the ultimate continental glory.
The competition will commence from the 15th of June, as 16 teams will compete in four groups of four. Once all the group games are over, the top two teams from all four groups, will advance to the knockouts, wherein the teams will play the quarter-finals, the semi-finals, and eventually the final.
India’s preparations ahead of the tournament
India will be playing in the competition for the seventh consecutive time, and may well be the dark horses of the competition. They have been drawn into Group D, where they will take on Japan, Vietnam, and Uzbekistan.
Bibiano Fernandes and his men have recently played in a number of friendly games in Germany as well as in Spain. The young guns have played games against Spanish giants, like Real Madrid U-17s and Atletico Madrid U-17.
Also, the U-17 Indian National team got the chance to play against the U-17 teams of Bundesliga outfits Augsburg and Stuttgart in Germany.
This brief period of training under incredible facilities, and testing their skills against such talented opponents, have truly boosted India’s morale going into the AFC U-17 Championship. The Blue Cubs now have their sights on lifting India’s maiden accolade at this stage.
India will begin their AFC U-17 Asian Cup journey on the 17th of June, when they will take on Vietnam.
