Now that the World Cup in Qatar has concluded, the focus has shifted to what is going to occur during the international breaks starting in 2023.

This year, there are five international football breaks, and there will be five more the following year. Beginning in 2025, FIFA's updated international calendar

Teams will also play some international friendlies and qualification matches for their continental cups. European teams are set to play EURO 2024 qualifiers in the coming days. The South American nations and a few African nations will play friendly games against each other.

The typical football schedule was upset by the World Cup in Qatar, but everything will return to normal over the following few years.

Prior to senior international football taking the front stage across the world in May and June, there is the FIFA U20 World Cup. The FIFA Women's World Cup is also scheduled to take place in July.

Additional qualifying for regional tournaments like Euro 2024 and Copa America 2024 is set between June 12 and June 20 during the post-season international break.
