Sreenidi Deccan retain Carlos Vaz Pinto as their head coach

Sreenidi Deccan were the I-League 2022-23 runners-up.
Sreenidi Deccan Football Club have retained the services of Carlos Vaz Pinto as their Head Coach for the upcoming season along with other members of the technical staff.
The 48-year-old Portuguese, who holds a UEFA Pro Licence, was instrumental in helping the Deccan Warriors finish runners-up in the I-League last season as well as masterminding a 2-0 win over Kerala Blasters in the Hero Super Cup.
Along with Vaz Pinto, Assistant Coach Birendra Thapa, Goalkeeper Coach Rafael Gracio and Fitness Coach Jorge Ovando will also continue in their roles for the upcoming season.
Sreenidi Deccan FC have confirmed three new signings so far - defenders Subhankar Adhikari and Abhishek Ambekar along with winger Kean Lewis - who will join up with the First Team squad next month for the start of pre-season training.
In addition, the Deccan Warriors have also extended the contracts of forward David Castaneda, winger Rosenberg Gabriel, goalkeeper Ubaid CK and midfielders Faysal Shayesteh and Lalromawia.
Sreenidi Deccan Football Club (SDFC) is part of Sreenidhi Educational Group which also includes Sreenidhi Institute of Science and Technology, Sreenidhi International School, KMR Foundation and Sreenidhi Sports Academy.
