Cristiano Ronaldo asserts that European football has lost its quality

The Portuguese superstar claims Premier League is the only competitive league in European football
The Middle Eastern division will surpass the Super Lig and the Eredivisie in the following year, according to Cristiano Ronaldo.
On Monday, July 17, Al Nassr played against Celta Vigo and fell to the Spanish team 5-0. In a post-game interview with the media, Ronaldo asserted that the Saudi Pro League was superior to the MLS and that more players will soon relocate there.
Following the expiration of his contract with Manchester United, Cristiano Ronaldo made the move to Al Nassr last season. He quickly accepted the staggering €200 million per season that the Saudi team offered.
Cristiano Ronaldo isn't returning to European Football
"I won't return to European football, the door is completely closed. I'm 38 years old, also European football has lost lot of quality… only valid one is Premier League, they're way ahead of all the other leagues" said Ronaldo.
Although Lionel Messi's deal at PSG finished this summer, Al Hilal were eager to sign him. The Saudi Pro League team reportedly proposed the Argentine €500 million per season, but they were unable to entice him to the Middle East and reignite his rivalry with Cristiano Ronaldo according to Marca.
Messi acknowledged to Mundo Deportivo and SPORT that he received contract offers from European teams but chose to sign with Inter Miami. He was eager to play in the United States and wanted to leave Europe.
The discussion between Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo has been going on for almost 20 years and isn't going anywhere. In order to maintain their careers, both players have pushed one another above their comfort zones.
