Two former Barcelona players have already joined the MLS side

Inter Miami shocked the world after signing Lionel Messi on a free transfer. They further strengthened their team by signing another Barcelona legend, Sergio Busquets. The Major League Soccer side is further looking to strengthen their squad and are targeting Sergio Ramos and Jordi Alba.

Jordi Alba left Barcelona at the end of the 2022-23 season and Sergio Ramos left PSG after his contract ended. The left-back was already on Inter Miami's radar after they completed the signing of two former teammates. Ramos is a new addition to their wishlist.

According to SPORT, the MLS side is in advanced negotiations to sign Alba. The 34-year-old is the captain of the Spanish national team and is available as a free agent.

Sergio Ramos wanted a return to Sevilla. However, this deal won't be possible as Sevilla have listed all their players on the transfer list. The LaLiga club is in debt and ruled out a possible move of their former player.

Now the former Real Madrid captain is in search of a new club and could be heading to the MLS.

Alba is 34 years old and completed 11 seasons at Barcelona. The veteran left-back won six LaLiga, five Copa del Rey and one UEFA Champions League. He is also a UEFA Euro 2012 winner with Spain. The full-back can still run down the flanks and could be a great addition to David Beckham's team.

Compared to Alba Ramos has enjoyed a more successful spell winning four Champions League, five LaLiga, and two Copa del Rey's during his 16-year spell with the Los Blancos. The 37-year-old defender won the FIFA World Cup in 2010 and the UEFA Euro Championship twice in 2008 and 2012.

David Beckham's team is struggling in the MLS. Signing some experienced players could help Inter Miami in the current season as well as in the future. These veterans could lay a benchmark for the upcoming players.
